This study developed a whole-body physiologically based pharmacokinetic model linked to a cardiac ionic current inhibition model to assess quinidine-induced TdP risks, and found the model to be accurate in predicting quinidine pharmacokinetics and TdP risks in healthy subjects and those with disease conditions.
