Epstein-Barr virus-positive plasma cell neoplasms in immunocompetent patients, although rare, show variable prevalence based on histologic subtype and tumor location, and while they tend to have anaplastic/plasmablastic cytologic appearance, no significant impact on clinical outcomes is observed in the limited number of reported cases.
