The study found that using different inspiratory rise times in calculating mechanical power with the MPdyn and MPLM equations in pressure control ventilation for Covid-19 ARDS patients resulted in small, clinically insignificant differences, suggesting that the MPdyn equation is a viable option for continuous mechanical power estimation.
