This study found that the upgrade rate to malignancy for lobular neoplasia (LN) diagnosed by MRI-guided breast biopsy is low, suggesting that surgery may be safely omitted in carefully selected patients with MRI-detected LNs in a shared decision-making process with the treatment team.
