This study utilizes small-angle neutron scattering and ultra-small-angle neutron scattering to investigate the structure of collagen-nanocellulose hydrogels, revealing that nanocellulose fibers expand and increase the homogeneity of the collagen network without affecting the inherent properties of either polymer, and that cells cultured in these hydrogels remodel the network without significantly altering its architecture.
