This study used single-cell RNA sequencing and immune repertoire analysis to reveal that the IL-1α signaling pathway, myeloid antigen-presenting cells, inflammatory CD8+ resident memory T cells, and dysfunctional CD4+ regulatory T cells are involved in pemphigus vulgaris pathogenesis, and glucocorticoid treatment significantly affects monocytes and mucosal-associated invariant T cells.
