The Chicago 4.0 (CCv4.0) manometric diagnostic protocol shows substantial agreement and high concordance with the Chicago 3.0 (CCv3.0) protocol, with most manometric diagnoses having no reclassification of patients, and more restrictive criteria in CCv4.0 achieving better reclassification of patients with ineffective esophageal motility (IEM).
