A prenatal serum Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substance (PFAS) mixture, including PFOS, PFOA, PFHxS, and PFNA, is associated with alterations in cord serum metabolome, particularly in amino acid, carbohydrate, lipid, cofactor and vitamin metabolism, and glycan biosynthesis and metabolism pathways, suggesting potential biological pathways affected by PFAS exposure in infants.
